It’s Party Time

I just love Christmas because of all the parties that i get to go to. I have work events and so does my husband and then there are the parties with friends as well. I just love having an excuse to buy some new clothes, have my hair done and go out and have lots of fun. It makes Christmas for me, having these great social events to go to and now the children are grown up we do not have to worry about them so it is even better. This year we even have a fancy dress party to go to and so I have been hunting around for some discount costumes because all of the shops seem to have sales on at the moment, so I want to take advantage of that. It has been great fun and has really made me think hard about what I would like to go as. I do not want to be the same as anyone else and there is no theme to the party. I am not sure about all of the traditional womens costumes and have looked at the couples costumes but was not keen on those either. I think I will have to have a really hard think about what I would like to be and what sorts of things my friends are likely to be wearing. We have never been to a fancy dress party before so I am sure it will be a really great occasion and for me, who loves dressing up, I think it will be really enjoyable. I just need to stop writing this and start thinking about what to go as or else there will be no costumes left to hire and will have to end up going as a bride in my wedding dress!
